Cancer screening for women in Tawau

TAWAU: Sabah Family Planning Association (SFPA) Tawau Branch is holding a one-month Cervical Cancer & Breast Screening on March 1-31, in conjunction with the International Women’s Day.  

The SFPA Tawau branch has started the pap smear & breast check campaign and the purpose of the screening is to help detect early uterine cancer among women.  

Women who are married or sexually active are advised to undergo this test. 

A special discount also will be given out throughout this campaign period.  The services provided include Conventional Pap Smear, Liquid Base Cytology, HPV DNA and HPV Vaccine-Gardasil 9.
