Norway's players are happy with the choice of Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard as new captain.

Odegaard replaced Stefan Johansen of Fulham, currently on-loan with QPR, as Norway captain on Friday.

Odegaard, himself, is on-loan at Arsenal from Real Madrid.

RB Leipzig's Alexander Sørloth says: "Brilliant football player and brilliant guy. Well liked by the whole group. Has become a greater authority in the team. Quite right that he gets the armband."

Celtic stopper Kristoffer Ajer also told VG: "A fantastic guy who really deserves the captaincy role."
