Workers’ housing: 146 in Sabah given warnings

Kota Kinabalu: Integrated operations under the Emergency Ordinance (Minimum Standards on Housing, Accommodation and Employee Facilities) Act 446 showed there is still much room for improvement where workers’ quarters is concerned.

The Emergency Ordinance Act 446 (EO 446) has been extended to Sabah on Feb. 26, with the main purpose of stopping the spread of Covid-19 among workers, especially at construction sites where most clusters have been detected.
