Barcelona are going cold on signing Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.
Off contract in June, Wijnaldum was expected to join Barca in a Bosman deal this summer - on recommendation of Barca coach Ronald Koeman.
But Sport says Barca are pulling back from negotiations with Wijnaldum.
The reason is the emergence of Ilaix Moriba, with management wishing to give the youngster a big push next season. Barca coaching staff believe the arrival of Wijnaldum could blunt his development.
As such, word from Wijnaldum's camp is that he now is willing to enter talks about a new deal with Liverpool.
