Major role for China in Sabah’s growth seen

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s collaboration with China to spur industrialisation in the State is key to growing Sabah’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), said Industrial Development Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam (pic). 

“We have set an ambitious target of growing the role of industrialisation in the State economy. Other than the much-touted potential in e-Commerce and everything digital, much hope still rests with our resources such as oil and gas, oil palm and timber.
