Newcastle United are watching Celtic defender Kristoffer Ajer.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle are interested in Ajer for the summer market.
Newcastle are preparing a proposal for the 22-year-old Norwegian in the amount of £8m.
It is reported that the deal may take place during the summer transfer window, though everything will depend on Newcastle avoiding relegation.
In the 2020/21 season, Ajer has made 40 appearances for Celtic, scoring one goal and producing two assists.
