Ajax goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg insists Roma will be worried about their Europa League quarterfinal draw.
Now 38, Stekelenburg is first choice shot-stopper for the Dutch giants after Andre Onana's suspension.
"I didn't expect to be in this position, certainly not when I returned to Ajax at the start of the season," Stekelenburg told Tuttomercatoweb.
“It's wonderful, although disappointing for Andre, as nobody thought something would happen to him."
He made 55 competitive appearances for the club, and will now meet them as an opponent.
“It'll be great to see my old club, even though I played there eight years ago. I think Roma won't be happy to face Ajax in the draw, though."
