Hertha Berlin admit they may struggle to bring Fredi Bobic across from Eintracht Frankfurt.
Bobic is set to leave Eintracht Frankfurt as sporting director and has been linked with Hertha and Manchester United.
Hertha adviser Jens Lehmann admits the compensation Eintracht Frankfurt want for Bobic could be out of reach: "The problem with Berlin is that he costs a lot of money. Then you have to see: Is it worth it?
“Fredi did a really great job in Frankfurt. But the situation in Berlin is different."
Nevertheless, Bobic was “naturally qualified".
At United, Bobic is also under consideration as they seek to make a first ever technical director appointment.
