Comply on workers’ housing

KUNAK: Employers in the State are urged to comply with Act 446 under the Emergency Ordinance (Workers’ Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities) 2021, which requires employers to provide safe accommodation for foreign workers. 

Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M Saravanan was reported by the press recently that amendments on Act 446 were gazetted on Feb 17 as part of the Emergency Ordinance.
