Bournemouth boss Jon Woodgate praised the attitude of his players in their FA Cup defeat to Southampton.
Nathan Redmond put on an inspired display at the Vitality Stadium, playing a vital role in all three goals, assisting Moussa Djenepo's opener and netting the other two himself.
Victory on the road means Southampton have now secured their place in the FA Cup semi-finals, with a trip to Wembley now in the books.
Woodgate said, "The lads never gave up. [Southampton] are a really good side.
"The second goal was vital for them right on the stroke of half time. We move on now, put that game to bed and look ahead to the play-offs.
"The [players] are down. They are going to be. You're gutted, but you have to move on quickly. We have a break now then we play Middlesbrough.
"[The league is] the only focus we have now. It's big for us. We have to get into those promotion places. It's nine games. The players gave everything they have and that's all you can ask for."
