Aston Villa are not sure whether they will make an attempt to sign Ross Barkley permanently in the summer.
The Chelsea loanee has been one of the star performers for the Premier League club this season.
However, Villa know Chelsea want roughly £35 million for the player.
According to Football Insider, Villa do not believe Barkley is worth such a high fee, and may look to sign someone else to replace his output.
The only way Barkley is likely to stay at Villa beyond this summer is another loan or if Chelsea lower their asking price.
