Liverpool goalkeeper Harvey Davies is proud of his Champions League call this season.

The 17-year-old goalkeeper, who has been with the club since the U9s, was called up to the Champions League squad to face RB Leipzig earlier this month and was named on the bench.

"He came up to me before the game and said a few words to me," Davies explained about a chat with manager Jurgen Klopp.

"He was really happy to have a young Scouser on the bench, he was really supportive and made sure I fitted in really well. He made sure I didn't swap my shirt as well. He's brilliant. The shirt is going to be framed.

"At the moment it's in my wardrobe on a hanger but my mum said she will sort that for me."
