Ex-MP among people caught allegedly hunting in restricted Tawau area

Kota Kinabalu: A former Sabah Member of Parliament was among people caught by State Forestry enforcement personnel allegedly hunting in an area said to be restricted in the Maliau Basin here.

Five sambar deer were also discovered on them in the incident.

It was learnt that the case has been referred to the State Wildlife Department for investigation.
