Tottenham are set to pass on signing permanently on-loan Benfica striker Carlos Vinicius.
The Brazilian is on-loan at Spurs to the end of the season and the deal includes a permanent option.
However, Football Insider says Spurs management have already decided not to trigger the clause to keep hold of the striker.
Benfica are willing to lower the price, to encourage Spurs to take Vinicius off their hands.
The striker has played seven matches in the Premier League, onefrom the start. He is still waiting for his first league goal.
