Martin Odegaard has told close friends his plans at the end of his Arsenal loan spell this season.
degaard has reportedly informed people close to him that he wants to remain at Arsenal beyond the end of his current loan spell.
The Norwegian is due to return to parent club Real Madrid in June where his future remains uncertain, though admitted earlier this month he was happy with life currently in north London.
Odegaard has become a first-team regular under Mikel Arteta at The Emirates - a status not afforded to him by Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
And despite the 22-year-old being coy when asked about his future this week, Football London report Odegaard is keen to stay with the Gunners for next season.
Arteta has already made a request to the Arsenal board for the club to do all they can to retain Odegaard's services.
