Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta insists he and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have moved on from their spat last week.

Arteta dropped his captain to the bench for Sunday's derby win over Tottenham for breaching pre-match protocols.

The Gabon international returned to face Olympiacos on Thursday and missed a number of chances in 1-0 defeat, although Arsenal advanced on aggregate.

Asked if the weekend impacted Aubameyang, Arteta replied: "I hope it hasn't. We moved on from that. He started the game today.

"We expect him when he does play that he performs at the level he can do."
