P’Pang cops training on drones

PENAMPANG: Residents here are advised not to panic if they see drones in the air because it is a part of police training.

Police Air Operations Force (PGU) Drone Unit conducted a drone training simulation at the District Police Headquarters (IPD). Penampang Police Chief DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim said the setting up of the drone unit was the Royal Malaysia Police’s (PDRM) effort to develop and apply remote control technology in crime prevention.
