10,000 in Tawau hit by power cut due to third party work

TAWAU: Third parties carrying out works involving excavation are urged to contact Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) before commencing their tasks.

SESB Senior General Manager (Asset Management) Norhizami Abu Hassan said this is to ensure that SESB’s underground cables are not disturbed and damaged as it can result in accidents due to shocks other than power supply interference in the surrounding areas.
