Jamie Carragher has poked fun at Sky Sports colleague Gary Neville after Salford City sacked another manager.

Carragher and Neville are best known for their legendary statuses at Liverpool and Manchester United respectively.

The duo are pundits on Sky, and Neville has often been outspoken about how clubs in the Premier League should give managers more time to get things right.

However, the club Neville co-owns has sacked another manager in Riche Wellens, as they are ninth in League Two at present.

Carragher went on Twitter to post a picture of a previous Neville tweet, where he had mentioned clubs should not sack managers so quickly.

Carra accompanied the tweet with a series of laughing emojis.

The old Neville tweet reads below: "The scary thing is that a large % now actually support these sackings as they've become accustomed to it...

"How can you build a football team without getting 2-3 years. A rule change is required to moderate sackings of managers mid season in their first year at a club."
