Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen is not a fan of the handball rule in football at the moment.

The Blues could have conceded a penalty against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge, but the referee chose not to award a spot kick.

Christensen has often spoken against VAR and some other matters regarding refereeing, and did not mince words regarding the handball rule.

He told the club's website: "I saw it and from my view it was their player [Greenwood] that touched it with the hand.

"I don't know why they had to check it because it was quite obvious.

"I'm a defender so I hate that [handball] rule.

"If it wasn't on purpose by either of them I think we should just leave it, especially when it's not on goal, just in between two players not going anywhere."
