PENAMPANG: Seven people, including two women, were caught for alleged substance abuse at an apartment in Putatan, Friday.Penampang Police Chief DSP Mohd Haris Ibrahim said the raid was prompted by surveillance following tip-off from the public. The suspects, aged between 21 and 35, were found with six packets of powdered and crystal-like substance, believed to be syabu, in the 2pm to 4pm raid.
Meanwhile, in BEAUFORT, three men, aged between 26 and 49, were nabbed on suspicion of having 251.48gm of syabu in their possession. District Police Chief DSP Azmir Abd Razak said the trio were detained during Ops Tapis carried out in Beaufort Sentral at about 9am on Friday.
Two of them were tested positive for syabu.
