Barcelona remain in contact with Bosman targets Gini Wijnaldum and Memphis Depay.
Liverpool midfielder Wijnaldum and Lyon striker Depay are both coming off contract in June and targets for Barca coach Ronald Koeman.
Sport says if it was up to Koeman, both Dutchmen would be secured to pre-contracts.
However, new Barca president Joan Laporta is considering whether to push through both deals as he assesses their summer market targets. Nothing can be decided until Laporta's management team is assembled.
For the moment, only Mateu Alemany holds a position on the football management side of things.
