New Barcelona president Joan Laporta has approved the signing of Manchester City defender Eric Garcia.
AS says Laporta is happy for the Bosman deal to happen, despite not being part of pre-contract negotiations.
The 20-year-old Spaniard will sign a contract with Barcelona until the summer of 2026.
Garcia is a graduate from Barcelona's La Masia academy.
In the summer of 2017, he became a Manchester City player. For the English club in the current season, Garcia played nine matches.
