AC Milan hero Demetrio Albertini has urged his old club not to drop their heads.

Albertini is adamant Milan can still haul in Serie A leaders Inter Milan this season.

“It's necessary to look ahead because, if you look back, fear can set in," Albertini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“You have to keep dreaming of the title for two reasons: First, to have no regrets at the end, it's possible that Inter could stumble in a couple of games, I don't they dominated their opponents against Atalanta and Torino.

“If they slow down a bit, it would be even worse for Milan to not have tried. Secondly, because if you aim high you have more motivation, you know you are playing for the most important target there is."

Albertini also insists: “Results aside, I don't see a team in a crisis.

“There are still many games missing and an obscure context as never before.

“Anything can still happen. The decisive moment comes now, in spring."
