Arsenal are reportedly ready to pounce on Inter Milan right-back Achraf Hakimi.

The Gunners have kept track of the 22-year-old since his days at Real Madrid.

Hector Bellerin wants to leave the Emirates this summer for a new challenge, leaving a right-back high on Mikel Arteta's wish-list.

And now might be the perfect time to move for Hakimi as Inter's financial future hangs in the balance.

There are concerns that the Serie A club's owners - Suning Holdings Group - are looking to scale back their operation in Italy, per the Mirror.

The Chinese company recently shut down their Chinese Super League club Jiangsu FC just months after they lifted the league title.

Morocco international Hakimi is said to be open to move to the Premier League.

It would cost Arsenal roughly £40m to secure his signature and he would demand wages worth £75,000-per-week.

Chelsea have also shown an interest in acquiring Hakimi, which could potentially make the deal more difficult for their London rivals.
