Kota Kinabalu: The City Hall’s (DBKK) payment counters will operate as normal, starting today (March 10).

Mayor Noorliza Awang Alip (pic), in a statement Tuesday, said the main payment counter at the City Hall’s headquarters will open from 8am to 4pm, while the counters at Damai Multipurpose Hall, Centre Point and UTC will operate from 8am to 3pm.

She said appointment-based counter services are no longer applicable and those who made appointments for March are requested to conduct their dealings at the counters as usual according to the operational hours.

Apart from the counters, online services to check and pay bills are still available at e-Services DBKK (assessment/compound/licence), DBKK e-Cukai (assessment only), Sabah Pay (assessment/compound) and Jompay (assessment only, biller code: 56739).

The City Hall is still holding its assessment rate payment campaign until the end of this month, involving a five per cent rebate on annual assessment, 75 per cent discount on interest and 100 per cent discount on notices.

Noorliza also reminded the public to obey the set standard operating procedures (SOPs) such as physical distancing, wearing of face mask, using hand sanitiser, checking body temperature and recording details when they are visiting the counters.
