Brighton are making significant changes to their under-23 setup this summer.
The Albion have chosen to release five members of their under-23 side, with eight being offered new contracts.
The Argus reports that Adam Debois, Marc Leonard, Tom McGill, Sam Packham, Jack Spong, Ayo Tanimowo, Lorent Tolaj and Ben Wilson are all being offered new terms to stay at the club.
However, Danny Cashman, Peter Gwargis, Kipras Kazukolovas, Roco Rees and Stefan Vukoje have all been released.
Albion's head of academy John Morling said, per The Argus: "It is never an easy time, and one of very mixed emotions for everyone.
"Obviously there is the positive for those being given extended terms and disappointments for the boys that have been released.
"We will continue to offer our support to the five and help them decide what their next steps might be and how to achieve those steps over the coming weeks and months.
"For the eight players we have offered terms to, I would like to congratulate them on that achievement.
"Their immediate aim, when they return for pre-season ahead of the new season, is to continue their development with the aim of making the step up to the club's first team, or alternatively into another club's first team at the highest level possible."
