Former Brighton captain Gordon Greer believes Adam Webster has been sorely missed.

Webster had played in 22 of their 23 Premier League games until he picked up an ankle injury against Burnley at the start of February.

That has seen him miss their last six games prior to the international break, with Dan Burn and Joel Veltman filling in.

Greer told The Argus: "He has been a real big miss because he brings so much with the ball, his distribution is excellent and he is a really good defender.

“Sometimes he does not get the credit he deserves as a defender.

“So, they have missed him and having that settled back three definitely helps you as a defender because you know who you are playing alongside and the three of them (Webster, Dunk and White) have been very good this season and have got a good partnership."
