Villarreal defender Pau Torres admits he is proud of being linked to a club such as Manchester United.
The 24-year-old has impressed in La Liga in the past two seasons, and is attracting interest from the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid.
Torres and Sevilla's Jules Kounde are among the top of United's wish list for a centre-back this summer.
And speaking to Sport, Torres said of links to some of Europe's biggest clubs: "It's a proud moment to see your work is reflected with these kinds of stories.
"But I face the rumours with tranquillity.
"I'm at a great club in Villarreal, and because I'm so calm about my future, I will continue to work hard every day."
