Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admits he may play Bukayo Saka at left-back in Kieran Tierney's absence.

Tierney has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee injury today.

On Saka being moved back, Arteta said, "That's the reality. You have to change something and you have to find a different way of attacking. At the same time, the structure when you are defending and in transitional moments has to be stable and has to be done by players that are comfortable doing that.

"We knew that position was a weakness around the squad, because we didn't have anybody to replace Kieran, and we have to find different solutions."

Pushed about not buying a left-back in January, he added: "We could not do anything in that window. We decided to let (Sead) Kolasinac out on loan as well and that's the decision that we made."
