Charlie McNeill and Zidane Iqbal both scored twice with Dillon Hoogewerf also netting.
Wanderers' solitary goal was registered by Chem Campbell from the penalty spot.
The result extended United's lead over Manchester City at the top of the Under-18 Premier League North table to five points.
Though City have two games in hand, the first of which was against Burnley later today.
James Nolan made his U18 debut for United as a second-half substitute.
