Former Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano doesn't rate Barcelona as title favourites.
Barca can go top of the table with victory over Granada tonight.
“It seems that the advantage (Atletico) had would have made it easy for them, especially as they are a team that know how to look after their savings - we all know when they go 1-0 up it's hard to score against them," said Valdano.
“With a ten to twelve point advantage, I thought that with this conservative aspect they would be very hard to overcome."
On Barca, he said: “Barca in the last two games have shown it's hard for them to maintain their lead, even playing against 10. So I think it's still open, I don't see Barca as such a safe bet (as people say). Now we have the direct clashes, Madrid-Sevilla, Barca-Atletico. That's where La Liga will be decided."
