Porto coach Sergio Conceicao was left frustrated with their Champions League defeat to Chelsea last night.

Conceicao saw his Porto team lose 2-0 in the first-leg of their quarterfinal tie.

He said afterwards, "We are only halfway through the match, so let's continue to believe in it. My players were amazing.

"We knew Chelsea's strengths and they sent Pulisic, Giroud, Kante and Thiago Silva on the pitch so they have different weapons, but we were better than Chelsea. There are no moral victories, it is the result that counts.

"The result is incredibly hard, but it is the goals that count. Chelsea scored - we did not. Our team played a very good match, was consistent in defense and dangerous in attack. We managed to create some chances, but without the goals."
