Manchester City defensive midfielder Fernandinho has praised the impact of winger Riyad Mahrez.
City continued their quest for a domestic and European treble, clinching the Carabao Cup after a 1-0 final success over Tottenham on Sunday at Wembley.
Aymeric Laporte got the winning goal for City, but it was Mahrez who was often the main attacking threat for City on the flanks.
"He's really important," Fernandinho told the club website about the game's Man of the Match.
"He's really confident. He has his confidence back and I'm really happy to see him high in confidence.
"He can help us a lot during the games."
