Aston Villa are eyeing Norwich City midfielder Todd Cantwell.
Villa are assessing options as they await an offer from Manchester City for their £100million-rated captain Jack Grealish.
Cantwell has been outstanding in Norwich's promotion season, carrying on where he left off in the Premier League the previous campaign, and the 23-year-old is not short of admirers.
Norwich are well aware of interest in their star players such as Cantwell, Max Aarons and Emiliano Buendia. They do not have to sell but there is a long-held recognition from the club hierarchy that should players wish to move on, and suitable fees are offered, bids would be considered, says the Daily Mail.
Norwich are equally mindful of giving Daniel Farke a fighting chance to remain in the top flight next season and the cost of replacing such talent.
With that in mind, it is understood they would want around £30m each for Cantwell and Aarons, while Buendia is rated at around £40m.
