Coventry manager Mark Robins admits he'd love to keep Brighton striker Viktor Gyokeres.

The 22-year-old Swede has scored twice in his last six appearances for the Championship side.

Robins said: "I would consider him all day because as a young striker he's got that desire and mentality, so yeah, I'd definitely consider him for moving forward. One hundred per cent.

"When we threw him in at the start, and I remember the game at Swansea which was difficult going back and leading the line, and he found that tough coming into a new club having left that one after half a season.

"And then to try to change things slightly to be incorporated, he ended up getting a goal against Sheffield Wednesday in a performance level that was good.

"But yes, he's a young player who I feel is in the most difficult position as a striker on the pitch, you have a player there who is learning his trade and trying to get into a team like ours.

"He's been frustrated at times but he has stuck with it and I saw something flipped in him and he then became part of the group."
