Sandakan IPTA student sparks new cluster

Kota Kinabalu: A student at a public higher learning institution (IPTA) in Sandakan was tested positive for Covid-19, causing a new cluster in the district, namely the Batu Lima Jalan Sibuga Cluster.  

Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the cluster recorded seven more Covid-19 positive individuals, after close contact screening on 91 students, 39 IPTA staff and 13 dining hall staff.
