Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane is hopeful that Eden Hazard will be available for their Champions League clash with Liverpool.

The Reds travel to the Spanish capital for the quarter-final tie, in a rematch of the 2018 final which Madrid won.

And Zidane may be boosted by the return of Hazard, who has seen his appearances limited by injuries this season.

Hazard has missed eight of Madrid's last nine league matches, while his last outing in the Champions League came in a group stage win over Inter Milan in November.

"Hopefully we can get [Federico] Valverde and Hazard back," Zidane said, after victory over Eibar.

"We will see tomorrow and the day after. Today it was not possible but I hope that on Tuesday they can be with us."
