Tottenham are in talks with Maurizio Sarri about the vacant manager's job.
Available after being sacked by Juventus last summer, Sarri has been in contact with Spurs, which are seeking a new manager after the dismissal of Jose Mourinho, reports TMW.
Talks have been held between the two parties this past week.
However, Athletic Bilbao coach Marcelino is the priority for Tottenham.
A first approach to the Spaniard is expected in the coming week.
