Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho admits he believes Tanguy Ndombele plays too much within himself.
Mourinho has spoken of his relationship with the France midfielder on Canal+.
He said, "Tanguy, I'll be honest, he's the kind of player you always expect more than he gives you.
"Because he has so much talent that you always expect more. His talent is amazing. His talent, his creativity in the midfield, his vision of the game… He has no equivalent in European football at the moment. I always come back to the same thing: I feel he can give more. He never goes to the limit of effort, sacrifice and even ambition!
"I love him as a player, but he frustrates me a bit because I feel he can be even better than he already is. When I look at the France team and Tanguy isn't playing, I don't blame Didier Deschamps, I blame Tanguy because he is better than the others and he should show it every day in training and at every matches."
