PSG midfielder Leandro Paredes has played down his clash with Barcelona star Leo Messi in the first-leg of their Champions League round 16 meeting.
The midfielder revealed the Barça captain became angry with him for a kick, but the issue was quickly settled.
"Nothing happened. It was a nonsense of the field, it stays there and that's it. It was a normal fever in a match," he assured.
"Surely he did not like some touch, some kicks also hit me. But it happens with everyone and on all pitches.
"I've gotten heated with brothers, with my father, with lifelong friends."
