Real Madrid have announced Florentino Perez has been re-elected as president.
Real Madrid declared in a statement on Monday that Florentino will once again take the reins of the club for another four years, until 2025.
Except for the period between February 27 2006 and June 1, 2009 (1,190 days, curiously three years, three months and three days), the Chamartín club has not known another president than Florentino.
He does so ten days after reaching 1,000 games as president of Real Madrid. It will be his sixth term at the helm of the Concha Espina club. An entity that under his leadership has been modernising throughout this 21st century.
The club has 47 titles under his mandate (39 in the 2011-20 decade) in which five Champions League titles stand out (three achieved consecutively).
