Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has slammed Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp ahead of the El Clasico.
Koeman was asked about Klopp running down the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano after their Champions League defeat to Real Madrid in midweek.
The Barca coach stated: "It is an attempt to discredit a big club like Real Madrid.
“Real have taken the opportunity to renovate the Santiago Bernabéu, now that there is no public presence. I am convinced that the field will be fine.
"It is not an important topic for me."
After Tuesday's game between Real and Liverpool (3-1) in the Champions League, Klopp predicted that Real will have a hard time in the return at Anfield next week, as Liverpool has a "real stadium".
