Fenerbahce ace Mesut Ozil is helping his new club find a centre-forward signing this summer.
Fener chief Emre has put a new striker signing at the top of his summer agenda - and a move has already been launched for Olivier Giroud.
Off contract in June, Giroud is free to discuss terms with foreign teams and Fener are now in contact.
And helping the cause is Ozil, who is close to Giroud thanks to their years together at Arsenal.
The pair remain close and when with Arsenal, Giroud said of the German: "Mesut's game view is flawless and he plays very simple. We get along very well on the field. He is a very qualified football player."
