Arsenal are holding talks to secure the permanent signing of goalkeeper Mat Ryan.
The 29-year-old joined in January on a loan deal from Brighton, and the club is now in advanced talks to secure him for next season and beyond.
That is according to Football Insider, with the source claiming that Ryan has made a strong impression with the Arsenal coaching staff.
Ryan was involved in the 1-1 draw in the Premier League against Fulham last weekend, which was his second league start for Arsenal this term.
The shot stopper has one year left on his contract at Brighton, and will go for a price lower than the £10million Brighton wanted for him in January.
