Liew urges Govt to reconsider operating hours of auto shops

TAWAU: Tawau MP Datuk Christina Liew (pic) has called on the State Government to consider the people’s earnest request to allow operators of motor repair workshops, motorcycle repair shops and tyre shops in the district to operate their businesses every day for the convenience of service providers and consumers.

She said she has received complaints through the Tawau Parliamentary People’s Service Centre about the standard operating procedure (SOP) for the operating schedule that permits repair workshops and tyre shops to provide services only on certain days of the week.
