Roma defender Roger Ibanez was proud to get on the scoresheet in their 2-1 Europa League victory over Ajax.
Ibanez struck as Pau Lopez saved an Ajax on a dramatic night.
“It was a difficult match, but we did well, we suffered under pressure and at the end I scored a goal that I really, really enjoyed," grinned the defender on Sky Sport Italia.
Ibanez felt the need to make up for his earlier error, which had gifted Ajax a penalty.
“I thank Pau for saving that penalty, thank God we also went on to win the game."
