Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Trent Alexander-Arnold wasn't to blame for their Champions League defeat at Real Madrid.

The Reds lost the first-leg of their Champions League quarterfinal tie 3-1, with a loose header from Alexander-Arnold leading to one of Real's goals. Klopp, while acknowledging the error, insists the fullback cannot be solely blamed for the loss, with the performance in the first-half not up to standard. Klopp also admits Real Madrid were worthy winners on the night.
