Chelsea have jumped into the transfer scramble for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Sevilla are ready to sell the French defender this summer to help balance the books.
As such, the Andalusian club have decided to lower their asking price from €90m to €60m before this summer's transfer window.
And La Colina De Nervion reports Chelsea have now expressed interest in Koundé.
However, Chelsea will face stiff competition for his signature, with Arsenal, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona also keen.
Koundé was signed from Bordeaux for the 2019/2020 season. His contract with Sevilla runs until the summer of 2024.
