Andreas Schjelderup admits he rejected Liverpool and Bayern Munich to sign for FC Nordsjaelland.

Just 16, Schjelderup is a first teamer for FCN and has scored three goals in eight senior games.

BT says Juventus, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Atalanta and PSV Eindhoven all attempted for Schjelderup when he was with Bodo/Glimt. But the Norwegian teen eventually chose FCN.

"Yes, we had contract offers from most of the clubs. But in the end we chose Denmark and FC Nordsjælland," he said.

"When I had to decide, we found out that the best thing for me was to go to FC Nordsjaelland and develop myself on their U19 team and in that way prepare me for the Super League."
